HOW WE OPERATE

From Concept through Construction your project with Okerman Construction and Remodeling will be a collaborative effort. Here is what you can expect from us:

Consultations/Estimates are provided  free of charge

  • The initial consultation appointment is scheduled and held
  • The estimate is created and delivered (within 7-10 business days of the consultation)
  • If needed, a follow-up appointment is scheduled to review the estimate, answer questions, and offer alternative solutions. This can also be done via phone, e-mail or even video conferencing.
  • The estimate is accepted (by the customer)
  • A Fixed Price Contract and estimated Schedule are established and sent to the customer

The Fixed Price Contract is signed by Customer and Contractor and the 1st payment is due – 30%

Your Construction/Remodel Projects starts once the contract is signed.

  • Project is staged and permits are procured
  • Sub-contractors are scheduled
  • Materials are ordered
  • Project is reviewed, Change Orders are processed ( if applicable)

Once the project is 50% complete the 2nd payment is due – 30%

When your project is 85% complete the 3rd payment is due – 30%

Project is complete! Final Payment is due – 10%
